  • Protection Skills

    Throwing techniques, joint manipulations and the striking of vital areas in order to effectively control, subdue or injure an attacker.
  • Submission Fighting

    Using a takedown or throw and then applying a submission hold, forcing the opponent to submit.
  • Ground 'n Pound

    Taking an opponent to the ground, obtaining a top, or dominant grappling position, and then striking the opponent.
  • Stand-up Clinch

    Using a clinch hold to prevent the opponent from moving away, while also using knees, stomps, elbows, and punches.
  • No-gi Grappling

    Practice in grappling in everyday clothing with out the advantage of the gi.

Aiki Kenpo Jujutsu is a contemporary discipline based on recent studies of classical tradition. It's focus is fundamental protection skills.

Jujutsu (柔術, literally meaning the “art of softness”), is a Japanese martial art which emphasizes throwing techniques, joint manipulations and the striking of vital areas in order to effectively control, subdue or injure an attacker.

The classes are no-gi and cover Submission Fighting Ground ‘n Pound, Stand-up, Clinch & No-gi Grappling. You don’t have to be interested in getting into the cage. Beginners are treated with respect and advanced practitioners will find something new.
